Mozilla Firefox Shortcuts

March 1, 2007

We all hear about those keyboard shortcuts you can use to maneuver around in programs. Personally, I’m a mouse + keyboard girl. Probably helps that I am ambidextrous and don’t really think about it much, but I thought I’d share a few keyboard shortcuts with you if you are using Mozilla’s Firefox as your browser.

Ctrl + N: opens a new browser window

Ctrl + T: opens a new tab – just type in the web address you wish to navigate to

Ctrl + O: opens a file on your computer

Ctrl + W: closes a tab window

Ctrl + R: refreshes a window

Ctrl + D: add to your Bookmarks

Ctrl + Tab: switch to the next tab

These are the shortcuts I have found to be the most helpful. Hope you do to!

Thanks for reading!
